Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a sales professional to build and maintain a network of leads, identify customer needs, and propose suitable products and services. You will demonstrate product value and maintain satisfaction through ongoing communication, with a focus on relationship management and post-sale service.

The role requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a detailed activity log and territory forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.
• One year of cold calling or B2B prospecting required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and pursues new sales leads through a network of sources.

Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads. Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs. Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs. Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post‑sale. Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest. Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems. Provides periodic territory sales forecasts. Perform other duties assigned by management.

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
• One year of cold calling or B2B prospecting required.
