We are seeking a Business Development Executive with deep experience in business development and account management within the biopharma/life sciences sector, particularly in contract staffing or staff augmentation.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative, candidate-centric environment and has a proven track record of building executive-level client relationships and delivering customized staffing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow business relationships with executive stakeholders (e.g., Heads of R&D, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, HR, Procurement) at target Biopharma / Biotech companies and CROs
  • Drive new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, warm leads, and leveraging your professional network
  • Own the full sales cycle from nurturing leads through contract signing, collaborating with delivery teams to ensure successful candidate placement
  • Present tailored staffing solutions in areas such as clinical research, regulatory affairs, drug safety/pharmacovigilance, quality assurance, medical affairs, and more
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their scientific and operational hiring needs and being able to share relevant market information.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in life sciences/biopharma staffing or staff augmentation (contract or perm)
  • Proven ability to generate $300K+ in split-adjusted gross profit annually
  • Deep understanding of the clinical trial lifecycle, drug development process, or regulatory landscape
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to match client challenges to staffing solutions and building strong relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an executive presence

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience working in or selling into functional areas like clinical operations, regulatory, medical writing, biostatistics, or scientific research
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms like Bullhorn, JobDiva, or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

What You’ll Bring:

  • A consultative, solution-focused sales mindset with a passion for life sciences and the impact of staffing on drug development
  • A strong understanding of industry hiring trends and role types (e.g., CRA, CTA, Regulatory Affairs Specialist, QC Analyst, etc.)
  • Ability to partner closely with recruiting teams to ensure client success and ongoing satisfaction
  • The drive to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and deliver measurable results
