This is a fully remote position located in the United States.

About the Business Development Executive:

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll take point in capturing net-new logos by connecting LoadSpring’s cutting-edge technology solutions to companies that need to modernize their project controls, data environments, and digital strategies. You’ll sell value, not just features—and you’ll do it with the tenacity of someone who knows they’re the best at what they do.

What you'll do as a Business Development Executive:

  • Own the Hunt: Relentlessly identify, qualify, and pursue new enterprise prospects through research, cold outreach, networking, and referrals. You’re not waiting for leads—you’re creating them.
  • Build the Pipeline: Strategically drive and manage a high-volume pipeline of new opportunities. Set meetings, lead compelling conversations, and push opportunities forward with speed and precision.
  • Sell with Purpose: Understand your prospects’ pain points, business goals, and tech environments. Then, deliver tailored solutions that show how LoadSpring’s platform and services will solve real problems and drive ROI.
  • Influence Decision Makers: Navigate complex enterprise org charts, build strong executive relationships, and guide buying groups towards a “yes”. Lead negotiations with clients and navigate complex sales processes and long-term contract conditions.
  • Partner Internally: Work alongside Marketing to generate demand and fine-tune campaigns, and collaborate with Product to share customer insights and inform innovation.
  • Forecast Like a Pro: Deliver accurate, data-driven pipeline reports and forecasts. Own your number and exceed it.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to contribute to LoadSpring’s strategic sales approach.

Requirements

What you need to be successful as a Business Development Executive:

  • A hunter’s mindset—you love the chase and are driven by the win.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within the software, cloud solutions, or project management sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding $2 MM+ annual sales targets and generating new business in a competitive market.
  • Experience selling to AEC, project-intensive industries, or similar markets is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud solutions, SaaS, and project management applications.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (NetSuite experience preferred) and other sales productivity software.
  • Ability to travel at least 25%
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced degree a plus.
