We are looking for an experienced Real World Evidence (RWE) and Life Sciences hunter to drive growth by securing new business, and leading high-impact initiatives that expand market share for our growing company. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with experience in a small, growing company yet a deep understanding of business development, sales strategies, strategic partnerships, real world evidence and the Life Sciences research process.
In this role you will:
- Hunt New Business:Identify, target and cultivate new business opportunities in your assigned territory for aggressive growth .
- Strategic Planning & Execution:Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and long-term vision.
- Market Research & Analysis:Identify emerging market trends, new business opportunities, and potential risks. Conduct competitive analysis to refine and adjust strategies as needed.
- Partnership Development:Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders and executives, including clients, partners, and industry leaders. Lead contract negotiations and finalize agreements that drive value and growth.
- Collaborative Selling:Work closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product, Operations) to align while demonstrating a ‘roll-up your sleeves’ attitude in order to execute on business development initiatives.
WHAT WE NEED:
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with at least 5 years in Real World Evidence, Life Sciences and or Clinical Research.
- Proven track record of driving significant business growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and industry trends.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-stakes negotiations.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
