Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Director to join our expanding team in the Financial Services Industry. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-level strategic initiatives within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships within the private equity sector. If you are a seasoned professional with a strong background in private equity and a proven track record of success in business development, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive regional sales growth through strategic consultative selling—sourcing new business, developing executive-level relationships, and leading client engagements from pitch to close.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans aligned with overall revenue growth targets.
  • Actively identify and support new sales opportunities through industry research and networking.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with referral and intermediary partners to deliver comprehensive service offerings.
  • Promote cross-selling opportunities across a suite of fund and corporate services.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline in collaboration with key intermediaries.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably within fund administration or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of private funds, private equity operations, and current industry trends.
  • Background in financial services outsourcing and technology-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a robust intermediary network and executive-level relationships.
  • Experience selling global fund and corporate service solutions.
  • Proven ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and drive account expansion.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%; primary work location may be in New York or on the West Coast.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and results-oriented drive.
