Credit Union West in Glendale, AZ, is seeking a Business Development Specialist I to build partnerships with local businesses and promote credit union membership. This full-time role emphasizes outside-the-office outreach, community engagement, and cross-selling financial products and services.

You will develop sales strategies, maintain a lead pipeline, represent the credit union at events, and collaborate with branch leadership to achieve growth goals while delivering exceptional member

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years business development experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with community leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains consistently high membership volumes from business partners.
• Plans sales strategies for increased market penetration and manages lead pipeline.
• Represents the credit union at community events, sponsorships, and outreach activities.
• Maintains budget and coordinates communications with marketing for collateral.
