Responsibilities

  • Develop new accounts and markets in employer EAP, Primary Care Physicians/Licensed Practitioners and managed care segments.
  • Develop a designated number of qualified business development contacts per week to reach goals.
  • Maintain account information, updating as required.
  • Visit primary accounts by personal visits, calls, and mailers to build trust.
  • Monitor referrals/admissions to maximize referral potential.
  • Stay current on industry changes through self-education and professional involvement.

JOIN OUR TEAM AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / COMMUNITY LIAISON!Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?Ridgeview Institute is looking for a highly skilled Business Development/Community Liaison. Community Liaison is responsible for the strategic goal set forth by senior maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts developing new business to achieve goals and objective of the business development systems. This position ensures that we are establishing community relationships out in the field.Develop new accounts and markets in the employer EAP, Primary Care Physicians/LicensedPractitioners and managed care segments, and as directed by the Director of BusinessDevelopment.Develop a designated number of qualified business development contacts per week, which willachieve the overall business development goals and objectives.Develop account management list to maintain current account information, and update asrequired.Actively participate with established community relationships in problem solving and works with facility staff to assure issues are resolved during a patients stay and upon discharge.Contact all primary accounts through personal visits, telephone calls and letters/mailers on anongoing basis, developing and encouraging a relationship of trust with all active accounts.Monitor referrals and admissions, and plan an appropriate strategy to maximize referral potential.Maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education,and professional and community involvement for the betterment of this position and the facility.Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, preferred.Licensure: Must possess a Georgia State license in social work or a clinically related mental health field (RN, LPC, & LCSW).
