Job summary

Ridgeview Institute Monroe is seeking a Business Development / Community Liaison to expand our referral network and build strategic community relationships. The role focuses on developing new accounts in EAP, primary care, and managed care segments while maintaining active engagement with existing accounts.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years in healthcare business development, with knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a health care business development/marketing environment with measurable results.
• Must possess a Georgia State license in social work or a clinically related mental health field (RN, LPC, & LCSW). Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and markets in employer EAP, Primary Care Physicians/Licensed Practitioners and managed care segments.
• Develop a designated number of qualified business development contacts per week to achieve goals.
• Maintain account information and update as required.
• Collaborate with facility staff to resolve issues during patient stays and upon discharge.
• Contact primary accounts through visits, calls and mailers to build trust.
• Monitor referrals and admissions and plan strategies to maximize potential.
• Stay informed about industry changes through self-education and professional involvement.
