Job summary

Encore Bank seeks an experienced Business Development Officer and Assistant Office Manager to grow core deposits, generate loan referrals, and support retail staff at the Charlotte location. This hybrid role balances relationship-building with operational backup responsibilities.

You will expand client networks, open new business accounts, collaborate with branches, and help manage sales processes while upholding compliance and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Banking experience in financial sales and business or commercial banking.
• Proven networking and referral experience with results.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Expand existing business relationships and seek cross-sell opportunities.
• Identify and establish new referral sources through branch activity and marketing.
• Produce and refer new deposits and loans in line with goals.
• Develop networking and calling programs.
• Open and manage new business accounts in portfolio.
• Execute sales processes to increase income from deposits and loans.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and customers.
• Analyze customer feedback to gauge satisfaction.
• Provide back up assistance in operations and retail functions as needed.
