WELBRO has an immediate full-time career opportunity for a Business Development professional to support the Senior Director of Business Development in driving growth, client relationships, and community engagement. This role helps expand WELBRO’s presence while supporting internal coordination of business development efforts. Key Duties
- Support and take ownership of assigned business development priorities, initiatives, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate meetings, client visits, introductions, and follow-up communication with internal and external partners.
- Research prospective clients, market opportunities, organizations, and industry trends.
- Track leads, opportunities, relationship activity, and key business development touchpoints.
- Prepare briefing materials, meeting information, presentations, and proposal support as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with chambers, industry organizations, nonprofits, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate sponsorships, networking events, trade shows, client engagement opportunities, and outreach efforts.
- Represent WELBRO professionally at select meetings, community functions, and industry events.
- Support WELBRO Gives Back initiatives and other community engagement activities.
- Organize recurring Business Development meetings, including agendas, materials, follow-up, and action items.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Preconstruction, and Leadership teams to support company-wide business development efforts.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of contacts, events, opportunities, and relationship activity.
- Ensure timely follow-through on priorities, commitments, and assigned action items.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, client relations, or sales support, preferred.
- Construction, architecture, engineering, or professional service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Professional presence and confidence interacting with executives and clients.
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
