Business Data Analyst

Emphasis on requirements gathering, Python scripting, and SQL.

Location preference: Local to Tysons VA to be onsite 2-3 days per week.

Tech Stack Needed

• Python: 1+ years of experience - need to be able to run scripts in Python.
• SQL: 2+ years of experience to pull data from various data stores including Snowflake.
• Strong analytics experience.

Must Have Soft Skills

• Ability to present findings from deep data analysis to key stakeholders within the organization.
• Ability to conduct break-even analysis and provide in-depth business analysis on strategy.

Nice To Have Skills

• Financial services experience, focused on risk or credit.
• Tableau.
• Snowflake.
• SQL Server.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Presentation skills for creating PowerPoint presentations and presenting to audiences.
• Problem-solving familiarity.
• Ability to build hypotheticals, logical solutions, and make recommendations based on data.
• Data skills: SQL and Python for handling large data sets, cleaning, and supporting evidence.
• Strong quantitative skills, medium presentation skills, experience with large data volumes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
