JOB SUMMARY:

As a Data Business Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining reports on Tableau Server, including bug fixes, increasing performance of workbooks, and gathering and implementing feedback on any modifications needed.

Duties

1. Manage efforts to fulfill client requests, including:

• Understanding client needs
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for data management projects
• Creating detailed technical documentation, including data mappings and process flows
• Communicating effort, timelines, risks, and client impact
• Facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements
• Participating in testing and data validation to ensure solutions meet business needs and standards
• Assisting in project planning and task prioritization for timely delivery
• Supporting performance, quality, and process improvements through data analysis and visualization
• Evaluating dashboard quality, usability, and reliability, applying best practices in design and development
• Communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and explain data modeling and visualization strategies
• Utilizing SQL and/or Python for data analytics, including data collection, transformation, cleansing, storage, and sharing, in a privacy-preserving manner
• Assisting in testing, governance, data quality, training, and documentation
• Collaborating across disciplines and departments
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Demonstrating company's core values and competencies
• Note: Due to PHI exposure, this role is considered high risk.

Minimum requirements include:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data or Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare
• At least 3 years of SQL experience for data manipulation and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Jira and writing user stories
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative work style
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years)
• Claim process experience is a plus

Compensation

The salary range is $90,000 - $105,000, depending on experience, education, and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, and bonuses.
