JOB SUMMARY:
As a Data Business Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining reports on Tableau Server, including bug fixes, increasing performance of workbooks, and gathering and implementing feedback on any modifications needed.
Duties
- Manage efforts to fulfill client requests, including:
- Understanding client needs
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for data management projects
- Creating detailed technical documentation, including data mappings and process flows
- Communicating effort, timelines, risks, and client impact
- Facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements
- Participating in testing and data validation to ensure solutions meet business needs and standards
- Assisting in project planning and task prioritization for timely delivery
- Supporting performance, quality, and process improvements through data analysis and visualization
- Evaluating dashboard quality, usability, and reliability, applying best practices in design and development
- Communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and explain data modeling and visualization strategies
- Utilizing SQL and/or Python for data analytics, including data collection, transformation, cleansing, storage, and sharing, in a privacy-preserving manner
- Assisting in testing, governance, data quality, training, and documentation
- Collaborating across disciplines and departments
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Demonstrating company's core values and competencies
- Note: Due to PHI exposure, this role is considered high risk.
Minimum requirements include: - 3-5 years of experience as a Data or Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare
- At least 3 years of SQL experience for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Jira and writing user stories
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative work style
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years)
- Claim process experience is a plus
Compensation
The salary range is $90,000 - $105,000, depending on experience, education, and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, and bonuses.
