Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Business Continuity Organization (BCO) Analyst to guide continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing across ICE's global infrastructure.

You will support incident response and participate in 24/7 operations to safeguard exchanges, clearing houses, and data services. The role requires expertise in BC frameworks, incident management tools, and cross-functional collaboration with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management, emergency management, or IT operations.
• Experience with BC/IR platforms such as ServiceNow, Everbridge, PagerDuty or similar.
• Familiarity with ISO 22301 and BC best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to work 24/7 and coordinate after-hours responses.

Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain BC plans, align with ICE regulatory frameworks.
• Support BIAs to identify critical processes, RTOs, dependencies.
• Maintain documentation in ServiceNow and other platforms with version control.
• Engage in incident/crisis management and routine exercises.

Overview

Job Purpose

The Business Continuity Organization (BCO) Analyst provides guidance on business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing activities in accordance with Intercontinental Exchange’s (ICE) global policy, governance, and standards. Responds at time of disaster to assist Risk Management run the Emergency Operations Center.

The Business Continuity Organization (BCO) Analyst plays a critical role in protecting the operational resilience of ICE's global exchanges, clearing houses, and data distribution services. This role supports the development, maintenance, and execution of Business Continuity (BC) across ICE's portfolio of regulated financial market infrastructures.

The BCO Analyst will preferably have knowledge and understanding of business continuity, emergency management, and/or incident/crisis response to support ICE's business continuity program.

The BCO Analyst operates within the Service Reliability department and works across 13 business segments supporting 80+ businesses. This position requires a blend of risk management acumen, incident coordination experience, and analytical discipline. The analyst must be equally comfortable supporting continuity plans, exercises, and live incident response, often under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• BIA Execution & Plan Maintenance
  • Update / maintain, and continuously improve BC plans in alignment with ICE regulatory frameworks
  • Support the execution of Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical processes, recovery time objectives (RTOs), and critical dependencies
  • Maintain BIA and plan documentation in ServiceNow and other platforms, ensuring version control and stakeholder accessibility
• Incident & Crisis Management
  • Engage in the Location Incident Management lifecycle - exploring Everbridge mass notifications disbursement, and Location Incident Management Team exercises and plan maintenance
  • Contribute to the BCO Incident Quick Open (IQO) process and maintain incident classification taxonomy aligned to ServiceNow
• Risk Assessment & Reporting
  • Assist in gathering data for the Location Risk Assessments for each facility
• Testing & Exercises
  • Document exercise outcomes, gap findings, and corrective action items; track remediation through closure
  • Train and educate stakeholders on incident response, BC procedures, and program updates
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with portfolio managers to gain comprehensive knowledge of business operations and provide alternate support to ensure continuity in the event of a disruption
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Regulatory Relations, and Compliance stakeholders on BCO program governance and oversight activities

Knowledge and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management, emergency management, or IT operations, preferably within financial services or a regulated industry
• Demonstrated experience with business continuity and incident management platforms such as ServiceNow, Everbridge, PagerDuty, or similar tools
• Familiarity with Business Continuity frameworks and best practices including ISO 22301
• Relevant certifications from BCI or DRII, such as the ABCP or similar certification is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
• Scheduling flexibility is required, as this role supports a 24/7 operating environment and may require occasional after-hours response and support
• Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with incident management and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Everbridge, or equivalents)
  • Ability to analyze and document operational workflows, data flows, and system interdependencies
  • Comfortable working with data in Microsoft office suite or similar tools for reporting, analysis, and tracking

  • Attention to detail when reviewing plans, procedures, and compliance documentation
• Communication & Collaboration
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate risks, issues, and status updates to stakeholders

  • Team-oriented with the initiative to work independently and drive tasks to completion

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Experience within financial exchanges, clearing houses, or data distribution environments
• Exposure to regulators such as CFTC, SEC, or similar regulatory bodies
