Job summary

KEMBA Credit Union in Columbus, OH is seeking a Relationship Manager to actively develop business contacts and provide banking solutions including loans, deposits, and related products to meet budgeted goals and deliver superior member service.

You will review and pre-qualify loan requests, meet with members to understand their business and personal needs, explain products, collect documents, and cross-sell services while maintaining professional relationships.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business or related field required.
• Understanding of financial analysis and determination of credit worthiness.
• 1–3 years of business banking or commercial lending experience.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and processes initial business loan applications and documents.
• Discusses loan options, credit criteria, and rates to guide member decisions.
• Evaluates loan requests and prepares submissions for committee/underwriter.
• Assists in construction loan reviews and property inspections.
• Maintains relationships with members and expands deposit relationships.
• Represents the Credit Union at business events and groups.
