Job summary

Timberline Bank is seeking a Business Banking Officer to independently manage and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships through consultative relationship management, business development, and sound credit administration.

The role requires strong credit acumen, ability to deliver customized banking solutions, and collaboration with internal partners to support customer growth while managing risk. A Bachelor’s degree and several years of experience in business banking are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred.
• Several years of business banking, commercial lending, or related financial services experience.
• Demonstrated business development and portfolio management success.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new loan, deposit, and treasury management opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong referral and center-of-influence networks.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and business operations to structure sound credit recommendations.
• Present loan opportunities and relationship strategies clearly and effectively.
• Proactively monitor portfolio performance, identify risk trends, and manage relationship issues appropriately.
• Deliver consultative banking solutions tailored to customer needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate with credit, treasury management, retail, and other internal partners.
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
