Job summary

Chase seeks a Business Relationship Manager I in Business Banking to guide clients with financial solutions and education, while managing a portfolio of 100–130 business clients with $1–$5 million in revenue.

You will deliver tailored banking solutions, collaborate with Chase Wealth Management, Home Lending, and branch teams, and maintain strong risk controls to protect client and firm interests.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• General business knowledge including understanding of core products and services with varied industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 100 – 130 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million; provide deposits, cash management, and credit opportunities up to $500,000.
• Deliver comprehensive, customized business banking solutions tailored to clients’ financial needs.
• Leverage knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to promote solutions that fit client needs and portfolio profitability.
• Regularly conduct in-person calls with prospects, COIs, and clients at their business location; review strategies with manager and adjust as needed.
• Identify and pursue new business clients to cultivate long-term, primary banking relationships.
• Collaborate with partners across lines of business to connect clients with specialists who can meet their needs.
• Provide leadership by supporting branches and adhering to risk management and regulatory requirements.
