Job Description

The Business Banker is responsible for driving business sales and revenue growth to achieve established production goals and financial results. They will work with an assigned portfolio of clients and prospects to grow business deposits, loans, and other operating revenue through cross-selling of business products to new and existing clients. The individual must have strong knowledge of Business Banking lending processes and practices, as well as experience selling to business clients. The Business Banker acts as both an individual producer and an expert resource for the branch team in booking their own business.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • Assess client needs to develop and execute cash flow management plans to help meet their financial goals.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of clients and prospects to maximize relationship opportunities.
  • Partner with Commercial Banking Group, LOB partners, Banking Center team, and Contact Center to drive business production and revenue, demonstrating expertise with all business products and services.
  • Represent the bank in the community by participating in community and professional activities to enhance the bank’s image and expand your network for new business development.
Education & Experience Requirements

A typical candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, along with 5-7 years of experience in Small Business Banking Sales or outside consultative B2B sales, or 10-12 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial Services experience in business banking sales is preferred.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
