Job Description

The Business Banker is responsible for driving business sales and revenue growth to achieve established production goals and financial results. They will work with an assigned portfolio of clients and prospects to grow business deposits, loans and other operating revenue through the cross sell of business products to new and existing business clients. This individual must have a strong knowledge of the Business Banking lending processes and practices, as well as have experience selling to business clients. The Business Banker is both an individual producer and expert resource for the branch team in booking their own business.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• Assess client needs to develop and execute cash flow management plans for clients and prospects to meet their financial goals.
• Manage assigned portfolio of clients and prospects to maximize relationship opportunities.
• Partner with Commercial Banking Group, LOB partners, Banking Center team, and the Contact Center to drive business production and increase revenue. Demonstrate expertise with all business products and services.
• Represent the bank within the community by participating in community and professional activities to enhance the Bank’s image and expand your network for business development.

Education & Experience Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience in Small Business Banking Sales or outside consultative B2B sales, or 10-12 years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience. Financial Services experience in business banking sales is preferred.

Office environment; ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
