Job Description

The Business Banker is responsible for driving business sales and revenue growth to achieve established production goals and financial results. They will work with an assigned portfolio of clients and prospects to grow business deposits, loans, and other operating revenue through the cross-sell of business products to new and existing business clients. This individual must have a strong knowledge of the Business Banking lending processes and practices, as well as experience selling to business clients. The Business Banker is both an individual producer and an expert resource for the branch team in booking their own business.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • Assess client needs to develop and execute cash flow management plans to meet their financial goals.
  • Manage assigned portfolio of clients and prospects to maximize relationship opportunities.
  • Partner with Commercial Banking Group, LOB partners, Banking Center team, and the Contact Center to drive production and revenue. Demonstrate expertise with all business products and services.
  • Represent the bank in the community by participating in activities to enhance the bank’s image and expand your network for new business development.
Education & Experience Requirements

Typically, a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field plus 5-7 years of related experience in Small Business Banking Sales or outside B2B sales, or 10-12 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination. Financial Services experience in business banking sales is preferred.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Office environment; ability to lift 20 lbs.
