Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Attorney, specifically in probate litigation and commercial litigation.
• Must be a member in good standing with the local State Bar.
• Proven track record of managing complex business law cases from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on business matters, including probate and commercial litigation.
• Represent the organization in legal proceedings, draft documents, and manage negotiations.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including interviewing witnesses, legal research, pleadings, discovery, and court appearances.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to meet legal needs.
• Stay updated with changes in business law and advise on impacts.
• Perform due diligence in contracts, agreements, and M&A.

• Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on a variety of business matters, including probate litigation and commercial litigation.

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including interviewing witnesses, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and discovery, and handling court appearances.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes and mitigate potential legal risks.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the legal needs of the business are met.
• Stay updated with changes in business law and advise the organization on any potential impact.
• Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Provide training to company on legal topics and promote legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the organization.
