Job summary

Alterman seeks a Business Applications Engineer to administer and optimize its enterprise platforms across construction, ERP, HRIS, CRM, and project management.

You will configure workflows, manage identities, integrate systems, and support lifecycle events from rollout to retirement, while ensuring security and compliance. Occasional travel to regional offices and after-hours support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS/BA or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience administering enterprise business applications.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with scripting and PowerShell preferred.
• Microsoft Associate-level certification required; Expert level preferred.
• Additional certifications (Procore, UKG Pro, ITIL 4) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers and supports an assigned set of enterprise business applications, including ERP, HRIS, CRM, and project portfolio systems.
• Manages user accounts, roles, permissions, and workflows within applications.
• Provides technical support and escalates complex issues to senior level.
• Administers Microsoft 365 services to support the portfolio of apps.
• Monitors application health and performance; reports issues and improvements.
• Documents configurations, integrations, and operational activity.
