Job summary
Alternatives, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator & Business Applications Analyst to lead administration, support, configuration, and optimization of our enterprise software landscape.
You will be the internal expert for multiple business applications and a primary resource for user management, integrations, and troubleshooting. The role emphasizes problem solving, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with accounting, payroll, purchasing, and IT teams to keep critical
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, business applications, IT support, or related tech roles.
- Experience administering and supporting business software applications.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, configure, and support multiple business-critical software platforms.
- Serve as primary administrator for applications including MIP Accounting, Paycom, Bill.com, UpKeep, Awards, and Amazon Business.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, workflows, configurations, and system settings.
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement; coordinate updates and integrations.
- Maintain accurate system documentation and configuration records.
