Job summary

Alterman, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to serve as a versatile tech resource across headquarters, regional offices, and job sites.

The role blends service desk support, endpoint administration, and ITSM platform management, with a focus on documentation and process adherence. You will work with Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, and PowerShell to manage accounts, devices, and configurations, while providing remote and on-site support and assisting with office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in service desk, end-user support, field services, or system administration.
• CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification preferred.
• Microsoft Associate-level certifications preferred (e.g., Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support across multiple locations, including travel to job sites when needed.
• Monitor queues, diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Document incidents, investigations, and resolutions in the ITSM platform.
• Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 accounts, licenses, and access controls.
• Administer device enrollment, configuration, patching, and endpoint management tooling.
• Maintain inventories, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and support office moves and relocations.
