Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Business Analytics Analyst to join the West Division Finance team.

This role will support the Rocky Mountain Region by performing financial statement, commercial, operational, and capital expenditure analyses, while partnering on regional adherence to financial controls and compliance. You will transform data into insights, build dashboards with Tableau or Power BI, and inform decisions with KPIs and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or related STEM field.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial planning, business analysis, or strategy.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision in a team.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills.
• Dashboarding experience using Tableau, Power BI, or comparable tools.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

• Empower leadership by transforming conceptual questions into data-driven insights to drive organizational success.
• Assist in the development of executive presentations with audiences ranging from local leadership to C-Suite executives.
• Provide due-diligence support for organic investment opportunities, evaluating if opportunities meet necessary return thresholds.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including internal customers and peers.
• Support other strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by management.
• Partner on GAAP adherence, compliance with financial controls, and accurate billing/payment to business partners through partnership with centralized accounting.
• Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct.

The hiring range for this position is $77,000 -$103,000 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The hiring range for this role represents the base compensation we expect to pay for the position at time of hire and does not represent the total possible base pay of the position. In addition, this role is eligible for our annual bonus program. Bonuses awarded under this program are determined based on the performance of the organization and the employee.
