Martin Marietta, within the West Division Finance team, seeks a Senior Analyst to support the Pacific Region by performing financial statement, commercial, operational, capital expenditure, and other strategic analyses. This role partners on regional adherence to financial controls and compliance.

Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, the ideal candidate has advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, 5+ years in finance/analysis, and a degree in finance/accounting or related STEM field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning, business analysis, or strategy.
• Ability to multi-task, support multiple customers/assignments and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our West Division Finance team. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager this position will be responsible for supporting the Pacific Region by performing financial statement, commercial, operational, capital expenditure, and other strategic business analysis activities for the region, while also partnering on regional adherence to financial controls/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Transform data into information, information into insights and insights into value creation.
• Through ongoing quantitative analysis, KPIs, tool development and insights generation, inform business decisions and improvement priorities which maximize value creation for the region.
• Empower leadership by transforming conceptual questions into data-driven insights to drive organizational success.
• Assist in the development of executive presentations with audiences ranging from local leadership to C-Suite executives.
• Provide due-diligence support for organic investment opportunities, evaluating if opportunities meet necessary return thresholds.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including internal customers and peers
• Support other strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by management.
• Partner on GAAP adherence, compliance with financial controls, and accurate billing/payment to business partners through partnership with centralized accounting.
• Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position is $100,000 -$128,000 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The hiring range for this role represents the base compensation we expect to pay for the position at time of hire and does not represent the total possible base pay of the position. In addition, this role is eligible for our annual bonus program. Bonuses awarded under this program are determined based on the performance of the organization and the employee.
