Job summary

InDev is seeking a Business Analyst to ensure successful product delivery across the software development lifecycle. You will elicit and refine requirements, translate them into user stories with acceptance criteria, and validate solutions before release.

The role supports project leadership through reporting and documentation, works in a Scrum team, and requires collaboration with stakeholders, business users, and SMEs. DHS clearance knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience working with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements.
• Experience in documenting requirements in user story format.
• Experience writing functional tests, executing tests, and documenting results.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and government stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

InDev is seeking a Business Analyst to play a key role in ensuring successful product delivery through all stages of the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will support product owners by eliciting and refining requirements, developers by validating business needs are met, and end-users by supporting production use. Additionally, you will have exposure to project leadership by gathering and reporting on key project data. The Business Analyst will bridge business needs with technical execution by gathering requirements, translating business requirements into user stories with acceptance criterion, and help validate that solutions meet business expectations before release.
