Job summary

InDev is seeking a Business Analyst to ensure successful product delivery across the software development lifecycle. You will elicit and refine requirements, translate them into user stories with acceptance criteria, and validate solutions before release.

The role supports project leadership through reporting and documentation, works in a Scrum team, and requires collaboration with stakeholders, business users, and SMEs. DHS clearance knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Experience working with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements.
Experience in documenting requirements in user story format.
Experience writing functional tests, executing tests, and documenting results.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and government stakeholders.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements.
Document requirements as user stories with acceptance criterion.
Develop and execute manual test cases to validate functionality aligns with acceptance criterion.
Contribute to program deliverables, including weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, and stakeholder briefings.
Document release notes and product documentation.
Work in a scrum team using the agile method.
