Business Analyst (Regulatory & Compliance)

Position type: Full-time (Contract) Duration: 12 Months (Possi. Ext. up to 24 Months) Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Responsibilities

• Support initiatives impacting the Investment Banking business.
• Focus on assessing regulatory changes, understanding business impact, and driving clear requirements across compliance, technology, legal, and operations.
• Focus more business/ops BAs vs technical.
• Analyze regulatory requirements and assess impacts across business, technology, legal, and operations teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine detailed business and functional requirements.
• Support regulatory-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with compliance expectations and delivery timelines.
• Work against defined SLAs and timelines to deliver high-quality analysis and documentation.
• Interpret and translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business insights.
• Support regulatory reporting and data analysis efforts.
• Engage with cross-functional teams within frontline business units.
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies related to regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Business Analyst experience.
• Strong background in regulatory and compliance initiatives (US or Global).
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting and data analysis.
• Knowledge of financial markets and banking operations.
• Experience to assess regulatory impact across business functions.
• Experience with regulations impacting financial institutions (e.g., US or global regulatory frameworks).
• Prior experience supporting frontline banking teams.
• Exposure to enterprise regulatory programs or large-scale compliance initiatives.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range & Benefits

Pay Range*: $60 - $67 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
