Job summary

PriceSenz LLC seeks a QA Test Manager, Level 2 to provide technical assistance to project staff and state stakeholders across concurrent projects for a Texas state agency. This role will lead meetings to understand and document business operations, systems, and user needs, ensuring comprehensive requirements analysis for technology solutions.

The candidate will coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and work with the project's Technical Lead to document and resolve defects.

Qualifications

Business Analyst 3/ QA Test Manager, Level 2

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: Long term

Note: Need someone with State of Texas experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a QA Test Manager, Level 2 to provide technical assistance to project staff and business stakeholders across one or more concurrent projects for a Texas state agency. This role will lead meetings to understand and document business operations, systems, and user needs, ensuring comprehensive requirements analysis for technology solutions. The role coordinates user acceptance testing and works closely with the project team to identify and document software defects, partnering with the project's Technical Lead on defect resolution. The ideal candidate works independently with minimal supervision and meets tight deadlines in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to project staff and business stakeholders across concurrent projects
• Coordinate and lead meetings to gather and document business operations, systems, and user needs
• Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis for technology solutions that enhance business value
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
• Identify and document software defects; coordinate defect resolution with the project's Technical Lead
• Assist in developing plans and work artifacts supporting the project management lifecycle
• Perform other duties as assigned to support ongoing operations

Required Skills & Experience (4-7 years each)

• Planning, leading, gathering, and analyzing business and functional requirements in cooperation with business and technical groups
• Developing business process maps and performing fit-gap analyses
• Solving complex problems and troubleshooting software systems
• Simultaneously collecting requirements across multiple program areas with varying business needs
• Gathering, documenting, and capturing design requirements
• Developing Business Requirement Documents and Software Requirement Specifications
• Facilitating workshops, meetings, and collaborative work sessions with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
• Preparing and executing test plans; leading and assisting team members in performing and completing test activities; documenting and communicating testing results
• Implementing and testing interfaces that exchange data with large, complex legacy systems
• Assisting with development of plans and work artifacts in support of the project management lifecycle
• SDLC management software (e.g., HP Application Lifecycle Management/ALM, Atlassian)
• Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Participant Individual Record Layout (PIRL)

Preferred Skills

• State of Texas experience (4+ years)
• Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, excluding state holidays
• Overtime beyond 40 hours/week must be pre-approved and coordinated
• Telework requires a secure, dedicated workspace, reliable internet, and availability for weekly meetings/collaboration via Microsoft Teams
• May require on-site presence with 72-hour notice for business needs
• Travel, per diem, parking, and living expenses are the Worker's responsibility
• Pre-selection may require satisfying criminal background check requirements per Texas law
