Job summary

EXL is seeking a Business Analyst (Project Governance & Delivery) for a hybrid role based in Hartford, CT or Dallas, TX. The position focuses on driving project execution, governance and stakeholder management while delivering data analysis, Python automation, SQL querying, and reporting.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage plans, milestones, and risks, and will develop dashboards using Power BI/Tableau to support leadership updates and client deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Business Analysis, PMO, Delivery Management, or Analytics.
• Proficient in Python for automation and analytics.
• Hands-on SQL experience (joins, subqueries, data validation, reporting).
• Knowledge of Project Governance, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with Power BI/Tableau and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action trackers.
• Support sprint planning, status reporting, governance reviews, and leadership updates.
• Develop Python scripts for automation, workflow optimization, and data processing.
• Write SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI/Tableau.
• Coordinate across business, analytics, engineering, and client stakeholders.
