Job summary

ExlService Holdings, Inc. is seeking a seasoned data engineering lead to design, build, and deliver data-driven solutions for insurance clients. You will manage complex ELT/ETL pipelines, data models, and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau in a cloud environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in project/client management, SQL, and data engineering, plus experience with SAS, Snowflake, and AWS. Telecommuting is permitted and projects may span multiple US sites.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Advanced Analytics, or a related field and 7+ years in project management, including client management, SQL, and data engineering.
• Experience with SAS, Snowflake or AWS for scalable data solutions, and Power BI or Tableau for visualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven projects from design to delivery for insurance clients.
• Build and maintain ELT/ETL data pipelines and data models (STAR/Medallion).
• Create interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Deploy solutions on cloud platforms (SAS, Snowflake, AWS) ensuring scalability.
• Engage stakeholders, translate business needs to technical specs, manage analyst/engineer teams.
