Job summary

Talent Software Services seeks a Business Specialist to perform financial analysis of SAP cost data, extract and prepare data for analysis, and support monthly close and budgeting.

The role requires strong SAP, Excel and Access skills, and the ability to create integrative reports and dynamic financial models. Hybrid work arrangement includes 2-3 days in the Salem, NJ office, with standard Mon-Fri hours 7am-4pm.

Hybrid: Remote/244 Chestnut St., Salem, NJ

Generally, 2-3 days per week in the office.

MON-FRI (7am - 4pm)

Target Bill Rate based on number of years' experience (see below):

• Intermediate level (up to 4 years' experience): *** bill rate


• Advanced level (4+ years' experience): *** bill rate

Responsibilities

Business Specialist - responsible for financial analysis of SAP cost data; extracting, cleaning and preparing cost data from SAP for analysis by others; completing related duties for the monthly close; and supporting financial budget/LRP planning. Strong skills in using SAP, Access, and Excel are required.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to extract information from various sources and systems, integrate/summarize into reports using Excel and/or Access, validate, and analyze results.


• Demonstrated strong ability to manipulate data, data mine and translate complex financial data into decision inputs for business recommendations.


• Strong ability to design integrative reports using advance Excel functions and/or other data query driven tools.


• Demonstrated ability to develop, build and maintain dynamic financial models for financial budgeting and reporting.


• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.


• Technical financial and managerial accounting skills.


• Demonstrated proficiency in financial systems and PC applications (MS Office Suite, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).


• Strong business acumen, critical thinking and presentation skills in Finance/Process Management.


• Strong understanding of general accounting practices.


• Solid written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management.
