Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team designing and building a proprietary project software platform. This role translates business needs into clear requirements, supports QA and testing, and drives delivery across pricing, budgeting, and financial management.

Reporting to Product Leadership, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, field users, Product, Engineering, and System Integrator partners to translate high‑value problems into actionable requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree inBusiness, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise software, technology, or business transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience gathering and translating business requirements into actionable solutions and supporting the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with QA/UAT, testing, defect resolution, and implementation.
• Strong business process analysis, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an Agile or hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions, including workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for the delivery team.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state solutions.
• Perform fit-gap analysis against existing platform functionality and recommend build-vs-configuration approaches.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
• Ensure requirements are clearly documented, understood, and communicated across teams.
