Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze business problems and translate requirements into IT solutions. You will partner with stakeholders, craft clear backlog items, and design interfaces and tests in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include creating documentation, ensuring traceability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable system changes. OD offers strong health benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
4 years of working experience in an Information Technology environment as a Business Analyst.
Proficient with system/application design and end user support.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to develop and document requirements and specifications.
Ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly language.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

Develop requirements for process or system solutions spanning multiple domains with stakeholders and document details for the build.
Break down partner stories into backlog items for developers with clear acceptance criteria.
Maintain business process documentation with change tracking for produced capabilities.
Ensure documentation is complete and stored properly.
Collaborate with analysts and scrum teams for consistency in processes and documentation.
Provide functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
Work with designers to create interfaces that meet requirements and standards.
Develop and maintain functional test cases and automated tests for load/regression testing.
Provide acceptance criteria and facilitate user acceptance testing.
