The City of North Myrtle Beach is seeking an IT Business Analyst I to join the Public Safety IT team and help evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and implement improvements.
Under limited supervision, the incumbent will provide functional and technical support for Police and Fire applications, coordinate testing, and assist with system integrations, upgrades, and technology planning to improve reliability and performance across public safety operations.
Under limited supervision is responsible for evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience: Six (6) years of progressive relevant experience
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machines and equipment including various computer equipment, telephone, fax machine, etc. Must be able to exert up to twenty-five pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve lifting, walking or standing for periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of five to ten pounds.
