BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Palmetto GBA operations in Columbia, SC. The role supports major operations, documents system changes, and assists in testing and data analysis.

You will work with management and staff to improve workflows in a 40-hour week, with occasional overtime. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and offers a stable environment with opportunities to contribute to government contract work and health benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Degree equivalency: 4 years job related work experience OR Associate's degree and 2 years job related work experience.
• Understanding of business processes and system concepts is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains a detailed understanding of major operations and functions in effect within the areas being supported.
• Documents system problems and assists in their resolution; reviews daily reports.
• Prepares and reviews test data, plans and matrices for system changes; executes test cases.
• Under supervision, learns to define business requirements, perform tests, and may lead small projects.
• Learns to prepare and review data for analysis to evaluate activities and workflows.
