Palmetto GBA, LLC, a subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, seeks a data analyst to evaluate policies, procedures, forms, and reports and to recommend operational improvements through standardization and simplification. Under general supervision, you may install new systems and monitor organizational functions to avoid duplication.

The role focuses on SC, GA, and NC, with a full-time, 40-hour week in a typical office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years data analysis or related operations experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates existing procedures and processes to recommend improvements and monitors performance metrics.
• Assists in implementing and maintaining systems or processes, including testing.
• Develops and maintains written procedures within standards; may create end-user training materials.
• Conducts workflow and process audits; researches errors and measures performance.
• Generates data for reports and maintains databases; conducts trend analyses.
• Keeps management updated on issues/projects and may liaise with internal/external groups.
