The Lottery's mission is to maximize the proceeds from Lottery game sales to support the Lottery's beneficiaries for the good of all Coloradans. The Business Analyst Management Office (BAMO) work unit is responsible for understanding and implementing business specific goals related to Lottery sections' business processes, claims, games, tickets, rules, system enhancements, technology, system version upgrades and implementation for the Colorado Lottery division.

This work unit is responsible for understanding and executing business-specific testing across all operational areas of the Colorado Lottery division. Key responsibilities include evaluating and validating business processes, claims, games, tickets, operational rules, technology systems, system enhancements, and version upgrades. To ensure system integrity and stability, the unit collaborates closely with key partners, including Game Vendors, the Office of Information Technology (OIT), internal and external stakeholders, and customers. By translating evolving business needs into technical and end-user requirements, the team balances technical acumen with business operations to deliver high quality of service, strong system stability, and maximum business value.
