Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Vital Statistics laws, policies, procedures and regulations with extensive experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio with 8 years of work.
• Skilled in project planning, organization and business analysis methodologies.
• Experience analyzing complex IT applications, policies and issues.
• Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage time and priorities.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders under pressure and resolve conflicts.
• Experience producing concise reports for review by managers/directors.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs; formulates systems to align with strategy.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and new technology applications.
• Maps business processes and supports reengineering efforts.
• Prepares options, risk analyses, ROI, and cost/benefit studies.
• Documents user needs, program functions, and steps for development or modification.
• Support frontline operations across multiple areas within VSS.
• Contribute to EVER system and vital records continuity efforts.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to sustain business operations.

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Business Analyst 3 for our premier client in Austin, Texas.

Education And Experience >>

• Knowledge of and ability to interpret Vital Statistics laws, policies, procedures and regulations.: 8 years.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).: 8 years.

What You'll Do Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
• Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective.
• Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering.
• Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc.
• Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• The division is requesting to retain this Business Analyst.
• They will continue to work on EVER and exceptional items to ensure continuity of business operations.
• The contractor will support front line business operations across multiple areas within VSS.
• VSS collects, registers, and amends vital records for legal and administrative purposes, and uses vital records data for mission critical public health purposes.
• In order to respond to the increased demand for Vital Records through the Electronic Vital Events Registrar (EVER) System and continuity of exceptional items.
• VSS is requesting approval for this current VSS Business Analyst contractor.
