Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring a financial and technical consultant for a DoD program management and financial management system. You will provide expertise in government finance and assist clients in structuring financial data, while reconciling multiple systems and reviewing forecasts daily.

The role requires DoD experience, DoD processes, and relational databases knowledge, with on-site training support for a government customer. U.S. citizenship is required and CCaR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of government acquisition, finance or financial management, program management within a DoD organization.
• Experience with DoD financial management processes, government financial and accounting systems, acquisition and budgeting processes, and relational databases.
• Education may be substituted with seven years of equivalent training or work/military experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required and DoD background/security checks apply.
• CCaR certification preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of government acquisition, finance or financial management, program management or related experience within a DoD organization
• Experience with DoD financial management processes, government financial and accounting systems, acquisition and budgeting processes, and relational databases
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics or another related discipline
• Experience in lieu of education may be considered with seven (7) or more years of equivalent technical training or work/military experience
• Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR) experience and/or certification preferred
• Must be able to meet Federal background investigation and additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials
• U.S. citizenship required
• H1-B visas and other visas are not sponsored
• Must be able to sit, type, hear, see, speak and work at a computer for extended periods
• Must be able to communicate accurate information and ideas
• Must be able to lift/carry at least 15 lbs.
• May need to move about inside an office
• May be required to work additional hours and/or weekends as needed
• Travel may be required
