Job summary

Smart IT Frame LLC in Berkeley Heights, NJ is seeking an experienced business analyst to lead requirements elicitation, document business needs, and translate them into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.

You will work with product owners, architects, and development teams across geographies, facilitate UAT, support backlog grooming, and drive ongoing process improvements throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Lead requirement elicitation workshops, interviews, process reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
• Translate business needs into BRD, FRS, user stories, epics, use cases, and data mappings.
• Analyze current and future state processes and recommend improvements.
• Work with development and testing to ensure clear understanding and implementation.
• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Facilitate UAT, defect triage, and business signoff activities.
• Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions and business impacts.
• Coordinate with multiple teams across geographies and provide status updates to leadership.
• Support change management, training, and deployment activities.

Job description

Collaborate with business stakeholder’s product owners architects and development teams to gather analyze and document business requirements.

Lead requirement elicitation workshops interviews process reviews and stakeholder discussions.

Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements user stories business process flows and acceptance criteria.

Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents BRD.

Functional Requirement Specifications FRS.

User Stories and Epics, Use Cases

Process Flow Diagrams.

Data Mapping Documents.

Analyze current state and future state business processes and recommend improvements.

Work closely with development and testing teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.

Support backlog grooming sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.

Facilitate User Acceptance Testing UAT defect triage and business signoff activities.

Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions and business impacts throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate with multiple business and technology teams across geographies.

Provide regular status updates and communicate project progress to program leadership.

Support change management training and deployment activities.
