Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Business Analyst to drive end-to-end gap analysis across API-driven workflows and channel integrations in Atlanta. You will map current versus future state, identify connectivity gaps, and document actionable requirements affecting CMS, translation systems, APIs, and delivery layers.

You will work with engineering to validate system behavior, support testing, and facilitate stakeholder sessions to ensure data accuracy and proper propagation across the ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end BA efforts.
• Strong gap analysis across systems, APIs, workflows, and platforms.
• IT environment with integrated systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience across full project lifecycle from discovery to delivery support.
• Experience analyzing web apps using SSR frameworks like Angular and APIs.
• Hands-on analysis of REST and GraphQL APIs and schema design.
• Familiarity with OpenSearch and indexing concepts.
• Understanding of Angular hydration, client/server caching.
• Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation.

Our client seeks a Business Analyst to lead detailed gap analysis across API-driven workflows and channel integrations. The role will define and analyze end-to-end API flows, system interactions, and platform dependencies to map current versus future state, uncover gaps in connectivity, data consistency, and delivery, and drive clear, actionable requirements. The analyst will assess interconnected platforms including CMS, translation systems, APIs, and delivery layers to ensure alignment, accuracy, and proper data propagation across the ecosystem.

• Identify breakdowns in API behavior, system connectivity, data flow, platform configuration, and content delivery.


• Evaluate how SSR versus client-side rendering impacts data accuracy and delivery behavior.


• Assess platform behavior and integration points to identify configuration gaps and inconsistencies.


• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate system behavior across APIs, services, frontend layers, and delivery mechanisms.


• Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to clarify requirements and uncover gaps across systems and platforms.


• Ensure requirements account for integration nuances, edge cases, and delivery dependencies.


• Support testing to ensure coverage of integration scenarios, dependencies, and failure paths.


• Identify risks related to system gaps, data inconsistencies, platform behavior, and delivery issues, and manage escalation as needed.


• Conduct gap analysis on REST and GraphQL API behavior and queries, including schema alignment and response structure across services.


• Analyze OpenSearch or similar search platform behavior and query patterns for inconsistencies or coverage gaps.


• Assess Angular application behavior, including hydration timing and caching layers, to identify gaps affecting data accuracy or performance.

Experience Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of Business Analyst experience.


• Proven experience leading end-to-end BA efforts across projects.


• Strong experience with gap analysis across systems, APIs, workflows, and platforms.


• Background in IT environments with integrated systems and service-based architectures.


• Experience across full project lifecycle from discovery to delivery support.


• Experience analyzing web applications leveraging SSR frameworks such as Angular, APIs, and CDN-based delivery.


• Experience across multiple enterprise platforms and SaaS systems.


• Hands-on analysis of REST and GraphQL APIs, including query structure, request and response patterns, and schema design.


• Familiarity with OpenSearch or similar search and indexing platforms, including query behavior and indexing concepts.


• Understanding of Angular applications, hydration behavior, and client-side and server-side caching.


• Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.


• Expertise in process mapping with attention to detail, and ability to produce structured requirements and documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
