Job summary

Clear Creek ISD is seeking a Yard Operations Technician in League City, TX. You will assist Transportation with yard duties and ensure buses are ready for service, properly parked, and located correctly. The role supports district operations and requires CDL eligibility and clean driving records.

The position demands basic computer skills, good communication, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision. Immediate-start availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Texas commercial driver’s license (Class A or B) or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Demonstrates a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure buses assigned for trips are prepared and in working order.
• Assist shop with hood checks and inspections when other tasks are complete.
• Fuel and stage vehicles for trips or route operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles operated.
• Report accidents, vehicle damage and mechanical failures per district policies.
