Job summary

Clear Creek ISD Transportation in League City, Texas is seeking a Yard Operations Technician to assist with yard operations and ensure buses are ready for service and in their proper locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Texas CDL (Class A or B) or eligibility, a good driving record, and at least 1 year in fleet service; you will perform inspections, fuel and stage vehicles, and support maintenance with accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas CDL Class A or B or obtain within six months of hire.
• Good driving record.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems.
• Minimum 1 year experience in fleet service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure buses assigned for trips are prepared and in working order.
• Fuel and stage vehicles for trips.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report accidents, vehicle damage and mechanical failures.
• Maintain buses clean and operational prior to use.
• Assist with minor maintenance in shop.
• Shuttle equipment and vehicles between maintenance locations.
• Operate all CCISD Transportation units.
