Job summary

The Lead will manage staff, research best practices, collaborate with partners to develop design tools, and implement innovative techniques within the Transit Development unit.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in city planning or related field with two years of experience.
  • Graduate education may substitute for experience per the rule, with 30 graduate credits equating to one year; a bachelor’s degree is still required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor staff.
  • Research best practices in bus priority street design.
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners to advance new design tools.
  • Implement innovative design techniques with TD colleagues.
  • Lead Bus Stop Accessibility Program implementation.
  • Track and evaluate progress.
