Job summary

RTS Livingston Bus Driver is seeking responsible individuals to operate a bus on designated routes, ensuring safe transportation for riders. You will follow schedules, assist passengers, and complete logs while reporting issues as needed.

Paid training is included. We offer full-time and part-time positions with benefits for full-time staff, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Health Reimbursement Account, a Flexible Spending Account, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Valid NY State Commercial Driver's License (Class A, B, or C) with Passenger endorsement preferred.
• If not fully licensed, RTS will train you.
• Must have a Class B permit with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Operates a bus or revenue service vehicle to transport customers along designated routes and schedules.
• Picks up customers on schedule and assists with boarding/exiting as needed.
• Complete required trip logs, report vehicle malfunctions, and conduct pre-trip inspections.
• Paid training is provided.
