Job summary

Eaton in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Production Technician - Bus Fabrication to assemble and test electrical assemblies. The role emphasizes wiring, mounting sub-assemblies, and inspection to meet customer specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly related role or completion of a one-year Technical School diploma.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the work location; relocation not offered.
• Eaton does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards per drawings and work instructions using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance with specs.
• Perform wiring assembly and use tools to connect components.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages or issues to teammates.
• Prepare finished products for shipment and support Lean 5S initiatives.
