Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, inspection, repairs and diagnostic work on electronic fare collection equipment and other on-board electronics.
• Troubleshoots to board or component level and interprets schematics and waveforms for effective fault isolation.
• Maintains, tests, calibrates and installs bus vehicle electronic systems and subsystems.
• Uses portable and on-board test equipment and documents status of repairs and open items.
• Adheres to safety rules, communicates status in writing, and performs related duties as assigned.

Education

Associate degree in Electronics Technology

Certification from an accredited technical program in Electronics
