Job summary

DALLAS AREA RAPID TRANSIT INC is seeking a skilled electronic maintenance technician to inspect, repair and diagnose onboard electronic systems on revenue vehicles in Dallas, TX. This role requires reading schematics, using test instruments and maintaining safe work conditions.

Eligible candidates will have an Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent, plus a CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement and completion of a DOT physical. Good communication and PC skills are important.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent tech certification.
• Must pass a technical test.
• Must possess Texas CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex vehicle electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot to board or component level.
• Maintain and calibrate bus vehicle systems and subsystems.
• Conduct diagnostic tests with on-board equipment.
