River Ferns Academy in Liberty Township, OH is seeking a caring and reliable Bus Driver to join our team. This role blends classroom support with safe transportation to ensure children have a positive, fun, and nurturing experience every day.

You will safely transport children to and from school, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, supervise aftercare, and plan age-appropriate activities that foster learning and creativity while modeling positive behavior and following childcare regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in licensed childcare is a plus.

About the Role

We are looking for a caring and reliable Bus Driver to join our team. This role is a unique blend of classroom support and safe transportation, ensuring children have a positive, fun, and nurturing experience every day.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport children to and from school and scheduled activities in compliance with safety and licensing requirements.

Perform pre- and post-trip bus inspections; maintain accurate transportation records.

Supervise, engage, and support children during aftercare hours.

Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and creativity.

Encourage cooperation, maintain discipline, and model positive behavior.

Follow all state childcare regulations and center policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.

Valid driver’s license

• Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting is a plus.
